On some campsites it is allowed to put up an extra tent next to your booked accommodation. If an extra tent is allowed, there may be additional charges for this on site and you may have to park your car elsewhere. If you wish to take an extra tent with you, this must be stated when booking. For further information please contact our booking office.
On all campsites with Albatross accommodation, our camp managers and couriers are available to help you with advice and assistance. The only exceptions are Marina Julia Family Camping Village, International Riccione Family Camping Village, Baia Verde and Camping Canyelles. Here all services will be provided directly by the central reception of the campsite.
Many of our campsites offer an animation program with dance and disco evenings, mini-club, sports activities and much more. The extent of these services depends on the size of the campsite and can vary depending on the weather conditions and the number of guests. In the pre and after season, some campsites usually offer a limited program. The animation program is usually conducted in the local language.
Each campsite has different arrival days and minimum stays depending on the season. This ranges from daily arrival and departure and a minimum stay of 2 nights in low season to arrival and departure on Saturday with a minimum of 7 nights in high season.
Arrival is possible between 4 pm and 6 pm, departure between 8 am and 10 am. At Marina Julia Family Camping Village and Int. Riccione Family Camping Village arrival is possible between 5 pm and 7 pm and departure between 8 am and 10 am.
Please always refer to the arrival and departure information on your voucher.
At some resorts it is also possible to depart at night. However, this requires consultation with our staff on site. Further details on arrival and departure can be found in the respective price tables.
If you book at short notice, we will gladly try to accommodate shorter stays. Please contact our booking centre for your request.
Do you also like to enjoy relaxed barbecue evenings with your family and new friends during your holiday? Many campsites allow barbecuing with charcoal and/or gas and/or electricity. You can find all the information on this on the sub-pages of the respective campsites.
No open fire or campfire is allowed on any campsites. If you bring your own gas barbecue, please remember that you also have to bring the gas for it yourself.
When operating an electric barbecue, it is possible that the power supply on your pitch is not sufficient.
Barbecuing is not permitted on the terraces of the mobile homes.
In some Albatross accommodations you can rent bedlinen (typical for the country) for a fee.
For the cost of bedlinen on the foreign campsites (where offered), please refer to the respective sub-pages of the website.
In Germany you can only get single bedlinen for 15,00 EUR per person. This price applies to the first set as well as to each additional change. In the holiday homes and apartments, the initial supply of bedlinen is included in the price. There is no possibility to rent towels in Germany.
On all campsites there are house rules which are binding for all guests and which can lead to an immediate expulsion if not observed. Please observe the respective campsite rules in order to ensure a relaxing holiday for yourself and your neighbors.
A refund of the travel price is excluded in the event of expulsion.
A deposit of 100,00 EUR in cash is required when you hand over your accommodation. If there are no objections, you will receive this back in full upon departure. Please refer to the respective price tables for deviating deposit regulations.
Out of consideration for guests with allergies, pets of all kinds are generally not allowed in our accommodations, even if they are allowed on the campsite.
In Germany, Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, France and Italy it is possible to book special accommodations on selected sites, where a dog is permitted 
. On which campsites you are allowed to take your dog with you, you will find the respective description. As this is only valid on request, please contact us.
Don't forget to show your valid EU pet passport at the reception upon arrival.
We reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of at least 200,00 EUR in case of non-registration of the dog as well as in case of contamination exceeding the usual level.
Many campsites have charging stations for your electric vehicle.
Charging electric vehicles at the accommodation is expressly prohibited.

Our mobile homes and holiday homes are equipped with all the necessary inventory, such as pillows, blankets, dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils.
For most of our Albatross accommodations, typical local bedlinen can be rent for a fee. You can find all information about this on our website under the booking information of the respective campsite.
Please note that bedlinen must be booked at least 14 days before arrival. Otherwise you have to bring bedlinen and sheets from home.
In the holiday homes, the initial supply of bedlinen is even included in the price.
At some foreign campsites, a towel is either included in the bedlinen package or you can rent an additional towel package. However, there are also campsites where it is unfortunately not possible to rent towels. You will find additional information about this on your booking confirmation/invoice. Therefore, please remember to bring enough towels (shower towel, bath towel, etc.) from home.
Please also remember to pack washing-up utensils (e.g. dishcloth, sponge, washing-up liquid, dish towels) and toiletries (e.g. soap, toilet paper).

Hygiene and cleanness are very important to us.
The final cleaning of our accommodations is therefore carried out by trained specialist staff and will be charged by booking. Further details can be found in the respective sites of the campsites.
Smoking is expressly prohibited in all our accommodations. In case of non-compliance we will charge the costs for the necessary special cleaning of at least 200,00 EUR.
In our catalogue and on our website we always go into as much detail as possible about the services offered at each campsite. However, there may be deviations due to weather conditions and seasonal variations.
The opening hours of certain facilities, such as the swimming pool, restaurant, disco or the range of services such as animation and mini club may vary, especially in the pre and after season. Changes may also occur at short notice in individual cases.

On many campsites you can park your car directly at your accommodation. A second car or trailer usually has to be parked in a different place and there usually you get charged an additional fee. Please inform us in advance if you wish to arrive with a second car or trailer.
In the price boxes for the respective campsites you will find all the information on the seasonal periods, arrival and departure, additional services and the duration of the minimum stay. The actual accommodation prices refer to the available allotments at the time of printing of the catalogue and depend on the respective period of stay. As soon as the allotments with the prices listed here are used up, the prices will be adjusted on a daily basis during the course of the season.

On arrival, please register at the reception of the campsite by presenting your travel documents or follow the instructions on your voucher. In some facilities you can check in online before your arrival. Take the opportunity and arrive earlier in your holiday. Please note the information on your voucher or ask our team at the booking department.

In many places, the legal regulations in Italy stipulate that a bathing cap must be worn when using the swimming pools. Please inform yourself on site.
In Germany, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Spain and France, it is common practice for local authorities to require tourists to pay a tourist tax or a guest contribution for their stay. The amount of the fee is determined by the respective local authority and is payable locally in the national currency.
For your own safety, you can take out a travel cancellation insurance with us with your booking, which also includes travel interruption insurance. On request you can also get the Albatross insurance package Germany or Europe.

More and more campsites are making efforts to provide suitable facilities for wheelchair users. Unless explicitly mentioned in the description, our offers are not suitable for persons with physical disabilities. If it is decisive for your choice whether a facility is suitable for wheelchair users, please contact our team of the booking department and we will be happy to provide you further information.
On many campsites you have the possibility to use WiFi. Please refer to the description of the campsite for availability. Please also note that the strength and the coverage of the network may vary depending on the location of the accommodation.
The times when the camping season was limited to a few months in summer are long gone. A holiday in a modern mobile home or holiday home is great fun even - or especially - when there is ice and snow outside. At many KNAUS Campingparks you can also enjoy your holiday in winter. The campsites that are open in winter are marked accordingly.
