The KNAUS campsite Oyten is located directly on the Lake Oyten with its large, extensive meadows. It is a very popular recreation area close to the city of Bremen. It is perfect for relaxing, an ideal starting point for daytrips and a suitable base for sports enthusiasts – every day can be an adventure!
Since 2019, the Wakegarden team has pitched its tents on the shores of Lake Oyter and offers variuos activities of water fun for all ages.
The campsite offers a large variety of activities and leisure facilities. It’s your choice if you prefer to relax on the beach or do activities on one of the jogging and cycling tracks around the lake.

The campsite is very well connected to the public transport network.
The Free Hanseatic City of Bremen is only 30 minutes by bus away and offers a lot to see. Bremen is best to discover on foot: Go on a shopping trip in the Lloyd Mall or a sightseeing tour to the world famous Bremer Town Musicians. Discover the impressive buildings around the old market place and enjoy a relaxing walk through the Schnoor Quarter. Also a visit of the harbour is highly recommended including a harbour tour by boat.
For those who are interested in modern art we consider a visit of the ART HALL. It is one of the most important museums of modern art in Germany and offers regularly changing exhibitions.
Visit the artists’ colony Worpswede and get enchanted by its particular charm: Since the end of the 19th century numerous artists are attracted by this picturesque little town on the brink of the Devil’s Moor. Old thatched farmhouses, studios and galleries impress the townscape.
