The tranquil town of Arona is just a few minutes from the campsite and invites you to take a long walk along its extensive lakeside promenade. The colossal statue of San Carlo Borromeo is another sight not to be missed. It is one of the largest statues in the world and from the walk-on platform you also have a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore.
Active holidays for the whole family – hiking at Lake Maggiore
The famous Monte Mottarone, towering at 1,500 metres, is only about 40 km from the campsite and promises its visitors a unique view of two lakes at its feet: Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. A cable car takes you directly from the car park to the summit, where you can enjoy the spectacular panorama.
