The best time for camping in Slovenia is from May to September, when the weather is warm and the days are long. In the low season, i.e. spring (April to May) and autumn (October), prices are often cheaper and the sites are less crowded. Winter camping in Slovenia is less common, as many campsites are closed during the winter time. Albatross-Reisen offers accommodation at the Albatross campsite, which is also available in the low season.
Wild camping is generally not allowed in Slovenia. It is recommended to camp on official pitches and campsites to avoid legal problems and to comply with local regulations.
